With 84" x 108" (7' x 9') platens and six 18" hydraulic rams, producing a closing force of over 2-1/2 million pounds, this specially engineered and custom built press was designed to fully mold unusually large gaskets, seals and pads in a solid, one piece construction, eliminating the need to make such parts in segments, which have to be joined together by splicing or dove-tailing.
